OIMC publishes call for applications from black researchers, in partnership with UFMA and the Ministry of Racial Equality

As part of the initiative “Climate Justice and Racial Equality: National Policies on Adaptation, Transition and Financing”, the Observatory is launching a call for applications for four Black researchers, in partnership with the Ministry of Racial Equality and the Federal University of Maranhão.

Professor Elza Neffa, a researcher on the Observatory’s Strategic Committee, has produced the timeline “Socio-environmental History of Guanabara Bay – 12,000 BC – 2025” based on data collected by the Socio-environmental Module of the Long-term Ecological Research project.
