The Observatory is launching a public call for people interested in taking part as volunteer monitors in the organisation of the 1st Latin American Seminar on Climate Justice; applications are open until 23 October.

The Observatory is launching the latest volume of Cadernos do OIMC, which features the article ‘Advances and challenges in adaptation, mitigation and just transition policies in Colombia’, written by Edgar Andrés Londoño Niño.

Starting a series of five publications by the Observatory on climate adaptation and fair transition in Latin America, Cadernos do OIMC N. 25 is our first volume published entirely in Spanish.

The Observatory is currently accepting applications from those interested in taking part in the activities of the 1st Latin American Seminar on Climate Justice, which will be held on 4, 5 and 6 November 2026 at the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ).
