OIMC Cycles of Webinars
From 2 to 30 October 2024, the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change is holding the fourth edition of our webinar series, bringing together experts from the civil society, government and academia to debate the main issues and strategies related to tackling the global climate emergency. In 2024, the Cycle focuses on exploring the main negotiating paths that may be developed in the context of the United Nations Framework Conventions on Climate Change.
The five lectures will be hosted online, with participation via Zoom, for those who sign up through this form, and simultaneous transmission on our YouTube channel. All those registered will receive certificates of completion of the Cycle
The Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change invites everyone to take part in the OIMC’s 3rd Cycle of Webinars. The 2023 Cycle will consist of five lectures, which will address various topics related to the climate emergency and will be presented by big names from Brazilian academia and civil society.
The event will be 100% online, with participation for those who sign up by filling in this form via the Zoom platform, and live streaming through our YouTube channel. All registered participants will receive certificates of completion.
In 2022, the OIMC promoted it’s second series of webinars. This Cycle offered, in the form of a UERJ extension course, debates on new themes of the environmental agenda, incorporating specialists from academy and civil society.
This series, carried out by the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC) searched to present and to discuss this important and urgent socio-environmental agenda for the renewal of development models and the promotion of a broader ecological awareness.
