LABMUNDO, OIMC and LABRI attend the launch of the AURELA Project at Sciences Po Paris

From 29 June to 2 July, Professors Ana Paula Tostes, Pablo Saturnino Braga and Carlos R. S. Milani contributed to the launch event of the project ‘Autonomy and Multilateral Reconfigurations: EU–Latin America Relations’ in France, taking part in meetings and seminars organised in Paris and Lyon.

Between 16 and 26 March, the Getúlio Vargas Foundation held a short course entitled ‘The Anthropocene and the Climate Emergency: where art and science meet’, organised by the Observatory, which brought together art, international relations, oceanography, sociology, law, economics and political science.

On 25 November, the Observatory, in partnership with the Graduate Programme in Military Sciences at the School of Army Command and General Staff, is promoting the ‘International Seminar on Climate Emergency and Defence: COP 30 and its impact on the Armed Forces’ at the ECEME headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.

Next Friday, 14 November, during COP30 in Belém (PA), the Centre for Advanced Amazonian Studies at the Federal University of Pará will host the Observatory and the Climate Social Sciences Network to promote the seminar ‘Climate Obstruction: A Global Assessment’ at the UFPA Guamá campus.
