OIMC coordinator takes part in colloquium on ocean governance at the University of Pretoria

Between 11 and 13 November, Prof. Carlos R. S. Milani was one of the guest speakers at the third edition of the ‘Oceans and Ocean Regions Governance’ colloquium, organised by the Oceans Regions Programme and the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) at the University of Pretoria.

Policy Brief co-authored by Prof Mário Soares presented during COP 28 in Dubai

Prof Mário Soares, a researcher on OIMC's Strategic Committee and coordinator of the Mangrove Studies Nucleus (NEMA-UERJ), participated in the preparation of the policy brief "Blue carbon credits: a lot of promises but even more uncertainties for the Global South" with researchers from the Institute of Research for Development (IRD - France), the University Amadou Mahtar MBOW (UAM - Senegal) and the Autonomous University of Campeche (Uacam - Mexico).
