On 28 November, the Observatory and the Institute of International Relations and Defence of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (IRID-UFRJ) will hold the seminar ‘COP30 in the Amazon: Multiple views and new perspectives for thinking towards the future’, in person at UFRJ’s Casa da Ciência, from 2pm to 6pm.

OIMC at COP30: Roundtable Discussions at Casa da Cidade – Week 1

From 11 to 20 November, the Observatory joins forces with the City Laboratory and the Institute for Climate and Society to promote a series of Roundtable Discussions at Casa da Cidade, an activity running parallel to COP30. With 18 face-to-face meetings, the initiative aims to establish a space for dialogue on key issues on the climate agenda – and on conference negotiations in particular.
