IESP-UERJ's Foreign Policy Actors and Agendas Research Group is organising the First National Foreign Policy Actors and Agendas Seminar, to be held on September 11 and 12 at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro.

In April, the project ‘Climate Obstruction and Foreign Policy in Comparative Perspective’, coordinated by Prof Ana Paula Tostes, invited German political scientist Detlef Nolte to give a series of lectures associated with the inter-institutional partnership between the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the German Institute for Global and Area Studies.

On 31 March, in partnership with the Laboratory for Geopolitical Studies of the Legal Amazon and the South American Political Observatory, the Observatory held a seminar to discuss the results of the project ‘Pan-Amazonian Governance, Climate Change and Sustainable Development’.
