On 3 June, researchers Bruna Bataglia, Filipe Chaves and Pablo Saturnino gave the workshop ‘Climate Emergency Course - Introductory Module’ as part of UERJ's Environment Week programme.
The Cadernos do OIMC series is launching its 19th volume: ‘Unmasking the actors and discourses of climate obstruction in Argentina and Brazil’, signed by Guy Edwards and Prof Carlos R. S. Milani, with contributions from researchers Ricardo A. Gutiérrez, Ruth E. McKie, Lucas Christel and Janaína B. Pinto.
On 28 May, researchers Janaína Pinto, Patrícia Campos, Júlia Nascimento and Luan Werneck-Costa represented the Observatory at the workshop “Bridging the Gap: Ways to align NDCs and policies with the Paris Agreement”, organised by the Institute for Climate and Society at the COP House of the Brazilian Centre for International Relations.
On 3 June, the Observatory will take part in UERJ's Environment Week 2025, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness among the university's academic community about environmental preservation, with the workshop ‘Climate Emergency Course - Introductory Module’.
