The LABMUNDO Cartography Studio, in partnership with OIMC, produces images related to climate change, public policy, and international relations.
Published by the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO), the Atlas of Climate Justice in Latin America and the Caribbean is a publication developed by the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change at the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the Observatory of Geopolitics and Ecosocial Transitions at the Complutense University of Madrid, which translates into maps, graphs, timelines, matrices, and narratives into maps, graphs, timelines, matrices, and narratives that are pedagogically accessible to the complexity of the ongoing disputes about how to redesign society-nature relations in the face of the many challenges of the 21st century. With critical thematic cartographies and visual narratives developed by the Cartography Studio of the World Political Analysis Laboratory (LABMUNDO), the work not only informs, but also proposes a way of seeing and thinking about territory, power and resistance, contributing to the dispute over the meaning of what is at stake in the contemporary climate and ecological crisis.
