Climate Emergency Course - Introductory Module

OIMC is releasing the introductory module of the Climate Emergency course, a project designed to provide training on current issues of the climate agenda, scientifically based discussions and political strategies related to tackling one of the most important crises of our time. The classes are aimed at educators and professionals from different sectors, teachers and multipliers, students, journalists and leaders of civil society organisations and social movements. In five themed lectures, this first module aims to translate in a didactic way the information produced by the scientific community on the phenomenon of Climate Change over the last 30 years, addressing fundamental issues such as: the effect of the climate on the lives of various populations; the socio-cultural perception of the climate emergency; the main possible collective lines of action for dealing with this crisis; and the main obstacles and obstructions to the necessary socio-environmental transformation.

To receive instructions on how to access the full material for the module, including the illustrative presentations and scripts for each lecture, click below and register by filling in the interest form. As the title suggests, this is the first part of a longer course, and advanced modules are already being developed and will be released soon!
