Registration open for OIMC’s 4th Cycle of Webinars

The Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change proudly invites everyone to take part in the fourth edition of our OIMC Cycle of Webinars. From 2 to 30 October 2024, the 4th Cycle will bring together representatives from the civil society, government and academia to debate the main issues and strategies related to tackling the global climate emergency.

The five lectures will be held online, with subscribers participating through the Zoom platform, and simultaneously broadcast on the Observatory’s YouTube channel. In 2024, the project will focus on exploring the main negotiating tracks that can be developed in the context of the United Nations Framework Conventions on Climate Change, in view of the proximity of COP 29 and with a sights set on COP 30, to be held in Brazil. In this edition, the Cycle will feature webinars presented by Anna Maria Cárcamo (Greenpeace Brasil), Danielly Mello Freire (FSP-USP), Eduardo Viola (IREL-UnB), Gaia Hasse (LACLIMA), Lucca Rizzo (iCS), Mariana Rondon (Plataforma CIPÓ), Natália D’Alessandro (MCTI) and Pamela Mércia (Instituto TNJS).

The OIMC’s 4th Cycle of Webinars is organised by the Observatory with the support of the Laboratory for Teaching and Research in International Relations (LabRI), the Institute for Climate and Society (iCS) and The Climate Reality Project Brazil.
