Climate Leadership - OIMC Interview Series

Through interviews with climate leaders, the Interdisciplinary Observatory on Climate Change (OIMC) aims to promote dialogues with activists, researchers, members of civil society organizations, public managers and entrepreneurs with prominence not only in the production of knowledge, but also in building bridges between the most diverse struggles for the climate, public policies, as well as business initiatives in the field of productive, technological and service sector innovations.

Through short interviews, from 10 to 15 minutes, OIMC seeks to understand what motivated the interviewee to dedicate her/himself to climate change, in addition to hearing her/his opinions and projections regarding the future of the climate agenda in Brazil and worldwide. In addition, OIMC seeks to disseminate her/his views on the role and impact of youth in transnational networks and in political debates on climate change. Therefore, OIMC aims to contribute to the promotion of dialogues between sectors differently engaged in the fight against the perverse effects of climate change and, thus, to directly and indirectly affect the public debate on this issue.

Beatriz Triani and Mariana Dias are both responsible for this activity. They are both young collaborators of OIMC and International Relations undergraduate students at the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ).
